The A List
The Amateur List
The idea of "The A List" comes by way of Professor Robert Greenberg, American composer and prolific author of many music courses offered by "the Great Courses" In his class on "The 23 Greatest Solo Piano Works" he ended the course with a lecture he entitled "The A List". In this lecture he paid homage to the amateur pianist. He presented a list of several well known piano pieces that could be played by "amateur" pianists.
With that thought in mind, using his list as a starting point, I thought I'd I'd expand on his "A List" to present a repertoire of pieces at about the level of difficulty that could be included in the repertoire of the amateur pianist.
Here are my humble recommendations.
Fur Elise - Ludwig Van Beethoven
00:00 / 00:00
Minuet in G - Ludwig Van Beethoven
00:00 / 00:00
